IPWE 5th Day Retreat #1

Dear 4th Day member, As a fellow 4th day member of the IPWE community,
I want you to review your spiritual life as it was immediately after your walk
and how it is today. How are you doing? Did your walk equip you for all
your 4th days? Is your heart still on fire for Jesus? Would you like it to be better?
Challenges come into our life uninvited. We get involved in life and in doing
God’s work and neglect our relationship with God. There is an opportunity
to attend a 1 day retreat to evaluate your spiritual life in the areas of priorities,
study, action, and piety and to set some goals to improve. This will be done
after hearing how others have and are struggling in each of these areas of their life
and how they are trying to improve. It will be a day of sharing how God is working
in our lives. Similar to your walk you will be sitting at a table of 4 to 6 others.
This is not a repeat of the talks from the walk but how it is working in our lives.
Please save Saturday July 11, 2009 and consider spending a few hours to improve
your relationship with God. Registration begins at 8 AM with the retreat beginning
at 9AM. There is no registration fee only a free will offering to cover the cost of lunch.
Please come and bring a friend with you. Caseyville United Methodist Church is the
location for the retreat and it will end at 5PM.
The Gathering will be at the same location at 7PM.
